Welcome to Nightingale Farm in the heart of rural South Somerset.
Set on the side of Beer Woods near the village of Aller, Nightingale Farm is a sheltered and tranquil place. Here survive ancient Perry Pear trees, plums and gages, cob nut bushes and walnut trees alongside new apple and pear trees that we have planted since 2007.
Beekeeping has been practiced here since time immemorial and because Nightingale Farm is on a SSSI, with ancient woodlands, and alongside some environmentally protected wetland fields, we can say that our bees have the best chance possible of only collecting nectar from naturally grown plants.
