Harvest time ...

August and September are busy months at Nightingale Farm.

First we collect our main crop of honey. This year we expect the harvest to be very small given the Spring conditions. But don't worry, the bees have plenty left for themselves, as we only take what they don't need for winter.

In September, we harvest our apples. We hand-picked our fruit and store it for winter.

Finally, it is the turn of the pears, ready to make perry.
